LHF Espoir, founded under the Association Law 1901 for non-profit organisations, is committed to fighting against Familial Haemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) and supporting patients and families affected by this disorder.
Our chief missions are:
Raise awareness of the disease
We aim to inform the general public about Familial Haemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis and other rare diseases, and also work with stakeholders in the health sector (hospitals, pharmaceutical industries, research laboratories, rare disease networks, etc.)
Facilitate advances in research
An objective of our association is to contribute to clinical and scientific research efforts and to improve care practices in HLH.
Support patients affected by HLH
Our mission is to lend moral support to patients dealing with this illness, as well as their families.
