Pathology: Chronic Intestinal Pseudo-Obstruction (CIP)

The POIC Association is active in several different areas.

Firstly, it offers support to patients and their families, particularly in their dealings with organizations, and offers moral support.  Each year it organizes a family weekend, and publishes a Facebook page on social media, which also includes a "POIC Discussion" segment.

Second, the Association is committed to working alongside doctors and researchers, with funding assistance from two research bodies; initiator of a multidisciplinary paediatric consultation programme headed by Dr. Marc BELLAICHE at the Hôpital Robert Debré in Paris; co-organizer of  POIC biennial  meetings;  engaged in developing a National Protocol for Diagnosis and Care in Pathology (PNDS - Protocole National de Diagnostic et de Soin).
