Summary of the study
In a parenteral home nutrition reference centre dedicated to chronic intestinal insufficiency since 1984, we retrospectively collected all the data relating to patients treated with parenteral nutrition at home during childhood, and then transferred to our adult centre since 1984.
We collected demographic and social data (family situation, working time, occupational information, care autonomy), data on evolution of the management of chronic intestinal insufficiency in adulthood (withdrawal from PN, GLP2, death, continuation of PN at home, transplant) and finally on the main complications that have appeared (liver disease, chronic renal failure, dependence on opiates).
Study in progress.
