To encourage research, the FIMATHO network offers assistance to its references centres, competence centres and partner research laboratories, throughout 2020, in covering publishing fees for scientific articles written in English and submitted to peer-reviewed international periodicals or the payment of publication fees (paid online periodicals).
Conditions to obtain this financing:
- Be a health care professional working in a rare disease reference or knowledge centre of the FIMATHO network or working in a research laboratory that is a partner of the FIMATHO network
- Involve at least three network centres/partners
- Have written the article in English
- Mention FIMATHO in the acknowledgements
The maximum funding per article is €1,000.
The FIMATHO network will support 10 requests maximum in 2020.
