FIMATHO supports families throughout the care pathway via awareness-raising actions about oral feeding difficulties, regional awareness days about the transition from adolescence to adulthood, information booklets, help in setting up therapeutic education programmes, support for the compilation of French national diagnosis and care protocols (PNDS) and the creation of emergency cards.

FIMATHO supports professionals in the network who want to develop projects on the local or national levels: research projects, therapeutic education programmes, etc.

Lastly, FIMATHO participates in developing national projects in the life and social sciences and facilitates cooperation between European expert centres within the ERNICA network.
