ORAL FEEDING SESSIONS

The FIMATHO network, in partnership with the Miam-Miam Grouphas developed information and awareness sessions regarding oral feeding difficulties in the form of practical workshops and theoretical support. These take place in 2 stages: one day-long event for professionals, and a second day-long event for parents.

These day-long events, conducted in the network's reference and competence centres, help to raise awareness among as many frontline professionals (hospitalists, paediatric nurses and assistants, nurses, etc.) as possible on this problem and help develop local competences and initiatives. It also allows the families to meet, exchange and develop relationships with local professionals.
