On the 19th and 20th of March 2021 the first basic ECMO and CDH course will take place in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. This course is based on the success of the pediatric colorectal course with hands-on training.

The course features:

• Learning the surgical principals and essentials in congenital diaphragmatic hernia and ECMO treatment
• Hands-on training with expert guidance (even for those attending online)
• Sessions on specific topics
• Interactive debate, quizzes or case discussions
• Small groups

The course is supported by ERN ERNICA and EUPSA and will focus on senior residents, fellows and junior pediatric surgeons. It is possible to attend the course on location or online (corona proof). All participants can participate in hands-on training on simulation models, even those attending from home.
